The journal aims at publishing research articles, special issues, proceedings of international conferences and short research notes particularly in these areas: international banking, money, international finance, investment, financial economics, e-banking and e-finance, financial analysis, risk management, financial derivatives, mathematical finance, financial accounting, financial engineering, credit rating. The journal has an international editorial and advisory board, representing all areas of money, investment, banking and related disciplines.
The purpose of Journal of Money, Investment and Banking is to publish rigorous, original articles dealing with money, investment, international banking and finance. Theoretical and empirical papers will be considered. Features of the journal include research papers, research notes, discussion articles, book reviews, software reviews, editorials and letters.
Journal of Money, Investment and Banking aims at providing an international forum for applied research on financial markets, including the bond and equity markets, derivative securities markets, the foreign exchange market, corporate finance, international economics, economic development, international finance, international banking and portfolio management, financial economics, international political economy, financial analysis, financial market regulation, financial risk analysis, transition economies, corporate finance, exchange rate modeling, forecasting financial markets, economic policy, monetary and fiscal policy decision-making, portfolio and asset management, pricing and risk of financial instruments, and advances in financial econometrics and statistics.
Journal of Money, Investment and Banking is intended to serve as an outlet for theoretical and empirical research in all areas of finance and banking. These include, but are not limited to the following: international financial institutions; exchange rates; open economy macroeconomics; and international finance. The journal encourages the submission of articles which are empirical in nature, or deal with international banking and finance. Theoretical work submitted to the Journal should be original in its motivation or modeling structure.
